Luttenberg village lies on a small moraine with a 31-metre summit. The ‘mountain’ is an isolated part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. In the village is a grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a copy of the Marian grotto in Lourdes to mark the anniversary of the then local priest. A little further on is Dijkman Klompenatelier (traditional clog maker) where a beautiful mosaic of clogs can be admired. Usually in August, the village celebrates the Luttenberg festival for a few days.
