The best Clog Museum and workshop in the Netherlands, located in Luttenberg! Martin Dijkman has already won the title of Dutch Champion Clogmaker. He can make any wooden shoe you can think of. In the beautiful atelier, he can explain exactly what craftsmanship is needed for the ‘ultimate’ wooden shoe. Martin will show you everything with the necessary humour! The recreated Night Watch painting of 30,000 hand-painted small wooden shoes is also often on display here. An absolute ‘must see’ in Luttenberg.

Museum de Laarman in Luttenberg

Museum De Laarman shows what implements the rancher and farmer used in the middle of the last century to care for livestock and work the land.
The Laarman also looks at the present and the future. Where is the source of our food? How is it processed into food? What is on our plates? They tell this story under the theme ‘From plate to farmer’.
The museum is located in a former animal feed factory where much of the installation is still intact and on display. The striking building stands on the flank of De Luttenberg nature reserve and offers a beautiful view of the valley of the Sallandse Heuvelrug at the front of the building.
At the rear, the new building provides access to De Luttenberg nature reserve.
