Apenheul

On the outskirts of the city of Apeldoorn ( about 60 km from our park) you will find the Apenheul. For years, the Apenheul has been a very popular park! The park is home to over 300 monkeys with a total of about 35 different species. The origin of the monkeys is mostly Africa, South America and Asia. The unique thing about the Apenheul is that the monkeys roam very freely. This gives visitors an even greater sense of being extra close to them.

There is an area with free-roaming monkeys and a large playground where you can play the monkey yourself. Curious? Hurry to Apenheul!

Wildlands Emmen

A 45-minute drive from our park is another unique park: Wildlands. Adventure Zoo Emmen is a modern animal park where visitors enjoy a journey through the jungle, the savannah and the polar region and are thus motivated and inspired to learn about and protect nature. So it's a great outing with an educational twist. There are also indoor activities, great if it rains a bit and that way a day at Wildlands will be over before you know it!

Less than an hour's drive from our park in In this small-scale zoo, you will find all kinds of unusual animals from Indonesia, such as the Binturong, the Loewaks, Malayan Wood Owls and the beautiful Bali Starling. You can also enjoy Indian snacks and drinks in the eatery, and take a look inside a Mentawai pole house.
